The two finger posture in the left hand(sword fingers) is relative to a "celestial sword" holding posture.

aha, this is tai chi: the more you train the better you get in tai chi. Practising in a fitness studio may help? Lifting weights even help more for tai chi? Building huge muscles helps most? Just asking.

Dear Andrew, Good performance, but it is the application for the "Diagonal Flying". "Parting the Horse's Mane" looks a little bit differ and its meaning is to break the arm at the elbow. Unfortunately these two forms are often misunderstood, because they looks similar.

during zz, sometimes my knees are fine, other times they get very stiff and I know I'm 'dumping' my weight into the knees. alignment looks good, I never had the issue of knees beyond toes or exaggerated curvatures. cannot figure out what is going wrong or if it's just a phase where my body is just trying to figure out what to do. this dual mandate of active expansion and releasing in the legs is just not clicking...

Really loving all your videos. I've learnt the 10 form and I'm now working on the 24 form but keep running out of room! Are there any variations for the 24 form for smaller spaces? Also do you have a dvd I could buy so I can watch without the adverts? Thanks so much!

so you actively draw up from the yongquan point in ZZ (while sinking the energetic body)? and is it just me or does pulling up from that point have the sensation of pulling up the inside of the legs up to the crotch...?
